Dusty is an all around farm helper. He excells at keeping rams under control while I work, finding lost livestock, catching and gently holding poultry and livestock including young ones, finding and ridding of varmints, herding sheep, warning us about possible predators and even gently rounding up baby chicks with his nose. When the work is done he enjoys agility, barn hunts, kayaking, hiking and laying at our feet. A calm and serious dog, he lives to please. When he isn't workign on his farm he excels in barn hunt and has earned his Senior Title. He is learning agility. He loves to hike and camp with the kids scout troop.

She is a natural bobtail. Her jobs around the farm are herding sheep, keeping everyone where they should be, varmint control and catching and gently holding livestock. She has a special talent for finding lost livestock and holding them and barking until help arrives. She will absolutely not leave her charge until help arrives. When her work is done she is the beloved buddy to my youngest child.

Breeder: Jill Hillborn Sire: Kimball's Jet Peaslee Dam: Caledonia Bunkie "Shady" Addie is our first English Shepherd. She taught us so much about the breed. When she was working full time she herded sheep, caught and held livestock, took care of varmint control and protected the farmstead. She is now retired, but still wanders out to the fields to supervise the younger dogs. Her main job now is training puppies, and she does a great job. They love their Auntie Addie and she lovingly teaches them right from wrong.
