Max is showing great farm dog skills. He is a great hunter and recently ridded the stone wall by our horse pasture of a opossum, cleared the garden of woodchucks and the chicken coop of rats. He showed his gentle nature as he helped to move a flock of sheep to summer pasture, pushing sheep with his nose rather than his mouth! He is friendly and easy-going. "never met a stranger," He is calm around stock and will begin some herding training this spring.
