Freya has a strong prey drive and will not back down to stock. She has good hunting skills and will go after varmints and erradicate them.
Freya's special talent is finding lost or escaped livestock and keeping them cornered and alerting the farmers to the location. She will stay with that stock until you arrive, and will back off only when you have control of the stock. This skill has saved many a sheep that has wandered into the woods.
Freya has had three litters. two with Dusty, with great success and one with Max (Mr. Right) which also produced wonderful dogs, including our Olive.
Freya will be having her last litter later this winter, with Dusty again. We have people who are waiting for this particular pairing.
